We are a warm and welcoming Baptist Fellowship of around 100 members with a good number of adherents and friends also worshipping with us. We are located at the Ayr-Prestwick boundary and have been here since 1889. We look to engage with our local community although our membership comes from all around Ayrshire! Our focus is that the word of God is central to all our gatherings and our Pastor, Kenneth Ross, is gifted in preaching and teaching. Our music worship is lively with a mix of traditional and contemporary praise. We are committed to families and children in our services and we are active in evangelism and mission. Please feel free browse our website and if there is anything of interest, we'd love to hear from you! God bless! WHEELS-IN-MOTION - Soup Bus now in action!
Suzanne Holden has been involved with soup bus ministries since 2006. She saw how effecitive it was in building up relationships and reaching people with an informal approach. She has been burdened to start a local ministry and sought to obtain her own bus. Through a generous donation from Brian Souter trust, she has a bus which has been kindly refurbiished with many donations, including a new kitchen from Loyds Kitchens in Kilmarnock. After a preview day on the 9th Jan, the bus now takes to the streets each Thursday and is now serving God in the way it was intended. Please keep this new work in your prayers. Any financial support can be forwarded to the charity via the leaders of the church or the Treasurer.. or by following the link below. Thank you for your interest. The Wheels-in-Motion work is being blessed by the Lord. Broken Chains is a joint churches initiative held each Sunday afternoon in the halls of Holy Trinity Church in Ayr to help reach less fortunate men, women and children with the gospel by preparng a meal each Sunday and by sharing a time of praise and worship along with a thoughtful and relevant message. Each week, between 40 and 60 people join together to think about how God can and has changed lives. It is really exciting and we praise th eLord for His goodness in this work. |
